A big sport event by Camille stempfel and Eden Esslinger

Le tournois des 3 frontière (T3F) has been going for 18 years and it’s the event with the best and the newest badminton players in France, Germany and Switzerland. It took place in Riverhin (Village-Neuf), Sportenum and Pfaffenholz (Saint-louis ) on 6th and 7th December .

It was created by Thierry Stempfel , president of V3F the organizing club : « to have a competition with the club. » . This tournament is open to people who’ve never competed before and to international players.

Floriane Bass a French badminton player has said: “This competition allows another vision of badminton and we can play against foreign players thus another game type.”

One Swiss player has said: “A good discovery with a nice atmosphere and good players.” Jonathan Gillis a Belgian player has reported:” In T3F we have a familial and cordial atmosphere in between beginner and expert players. It is really good!”

Language could be a problem with about 6 different nationalities (French, German, Swiss, Indonesian, Slovak, Danish…) but no, players speak in English or in their mother tongue.

“I always manage to make myself understood” said Floriane Bass.

In this sport event, we have a beautiful mix of different nationalities and types of game which gives it its richness.
